Bill’s Donut Shop collecting supplies to send to Puerto Rico

CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) — Bill’s Donut Shop is leading a fundraising effort to help people devastated by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

Bill’s wants to ‘Fill the Truck’ with the following necessity items:

  • Water
  • Non-perishable food
  • Rubber gloves
  • Rubber boots
  • Mosquito Repellent
  • Underwear for both sexes, adults and children
  • Disposable diapers
  • Depends (adult diapers)
  • Baby wipes
  • Toothbrushes and toothpaste
  • New socks (all sizes)

Donations can be dropped off anytime at Bill’s Donut shop on North Main Street in Centerville. Collection ends Tuesday, October 3.

Next week, the truck full of supplies will be taken down to Cincinnati where arrangements have been made to fly the items to Puerto Rico.

This is BIll’s Donut Shop’s second fundraising effort. It also collected supplies for people impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
