Pittsford, N.Y. – The Buffalo Bills are now through two practices of training camp and look ready to ramp up the intensity, which will come over the weekend when the players put pads on for the first time.
Friday’s practice was dominated by the defense for most of the afternoon. Here are our full takeaways from the day.

The Bills’ defensive line was getting quite the push on Friday afternoon. Jerry Hughes got into the backfield for a sack and Shaq Lawson picked up multiple sacks during practice. Of course, pads haven’t come on yet, so it’s tough to get a true evaluation of the linemen. That said, the defensive line has an early edge on the offensive line, and as was feared, right tackle looks like a bit of a weakness.

The second-team linebackers on Friday were Reggie Ragland in the middle, Gerald Hodges on one side and rookie Tanner Vallejo on the other side. Vallejo getting some meaningful reps early is a positive sign. Fellow rookie linebacker Matt Milano, meanwhile, picked up a sack in practice on Friday.
Zay Jones gets reps with Tyrod Taylor
