Hyderabad: Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Pensions), Allahabad, is organising the 148thDefence Pension Adalat at Secunderabadfor two days on July 27 and 28 under the aegis of Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA), New Delhi, in consultation with the Ministry of Defence Pensioners including Defence Civilians drawing their pension from the public-sector banks and treasury offices in the State of Telangana.
Veena Prasad, IDAS, CGDA, Head of the Department of Defence Accounts, Union Ministry of Defence, New Delhi, will inaugurate the two-day Defence Pension Adalat at MCEME Auditorium at the Secunderabad Cantonment on Thursday.
The forum of Adalat will serve as a platform from where the pensioner’s grievances relating to pension will be examined comprehensively with a view to prompt finalisation of cases. Every effort will be made to settle the complaints.
In addition, Adalat will also be marked by the gracious presence of number of officers from Ministry of Defence, All Service Headquarters viz., Army, Air Force and Navy, Defence Accounts Department as well as dignitaries from public sector banks and Rajya Sainik Board.
