The conference, chaired by Adrian Weckler, technology editor at INM, will take place on Wednesday, November 1, in the RDS.
Industry specialists will update businesses on the issues of data security, ransomware, attacks within the Internet of Things (IoT) and the human factor in data breaches ahead of the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Topics include machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technology.
Cloud security will also be explored at the cyber security conference.
Speakers include Joseph Carson, cyber security strategist at Thycotic; Paolo Perfetti, chief information technology officer, Eir; Dr Jessica Barker, Cyber.uk; and Bradley C Birkenfeld, banker and whistleblower, and author of ‘Lucifer’s Banker: The Untold Story of How I Destroyed Swiss Bank Secrecy’.
