High-quality financial advice is tough to find but can make a material difference as you look to build wealth through different life stages. 

For many South Africans, the real question is where do you find high-quality financial advice that you can trust? 

The Financial Planning Institute (FPI) in South Africa is dedicated to raising the level and quality of financial advice by acknowledging top financial planners in South Africa and on September 5, Moneyweb will host a webinar with the three finalists in the “Financial Planner of the Year” award to take questions from the Moneyweb audience. 

This year, the three finalists are: 

Francois Le Roux, CFP®
Francois has over 16 years’ experience in the financial planning profession.He is a proud mentor, mentoring aspiring financial planners as part of the FPI Mentorship Programme and was a finalist in the 2016 FPI Financial Planner of the Year competition.

Janet Hugo, CFP®
Janet has been in the financial services industry for more than 10 years, previously as a director of Hugo Capital and currently as a director of Sterling Private ClientsShe has been actively involved with FPI since 2009 and was elected to chair the FPI Investment Competency Committee since 2010. In June this year, Janet was elected to the FPI Board of Directors as a non-executive director.

Mark MacSymon, CFP®
An economist by profession and a wealth manager at Private Client Holdings, Mark believes that the most important attributes of the modern financial planning professional are impartiality, transparency and a commitment to service excellence.

These experts will take questions from the audience and provide insights into how they are advising clients in the current market conditions. 

The webinar will take place at on September 5 at 14:00 and there is no charge to join. A playback functionality will be available for those unable to attend the actual session.
