High property prices can put many would-be buyers off investing in a new home or buy-to-let flat.

But, if you don’t mind a little renovation and giving your new home a facelift, there are plenty of bargain properties out there.

We’ve rounded up five of the cheapest fixer-upper properties available in Scotland right now.

Some need more work than others, but are definitely all worth a look if you don’t mind a little elbow grease!
