The Nifty Realty index hit a fresh 52-week high of 292 and was trading 1.38 per cent up at 291 around 12:41 pm (IST) in Thursday’s trade.
Phoenix Mills (down 1.31 per cent) was the only stock trading in red around that time.
Other sectoral indices were also in green with pharma, media and auto appearing at the front.
Benchmark Nifty and Sensex pared some gains during the afternoon session as mild bouts of selling emerged in IT and FMCG stocks.
IT major Infosys and FMCG heavyweight ITC were losing in trade.
Broader small-cap and mid-cap indices were outperforming benchmarks.
Both BSE SmallCap and mid-cap indices hit an all-time high of 16,395 and 15,853, respectively, in Thursday’s trade.
Indiabulls Housing Finance, Eicher Motors, Sun Pharma, Bank of Baroda and Hindalco were the top Nifty gainers.
Benchmark Nifty50 was trading above the psychologically important mark of 9,900, while Sensex hovered around 31,700 level during the afternoon session.
In the Nifty50 pack, 31 stocks were trading in green, while 20 stocks were in red.
On BSE, 1,378 stocks were advancing whereas 1,012 stocks were lagging.
