Sick and tired of the commute to work and back every day and need a break? Well how about buying a holiday home to retreat to at weekends?

There are plenty of places to travel to within a short distance of Stoke-on-Trent, including this log cabin in Wales which is just a two-and-a-half hour drive.

Just think, you could leave the office at 5pm on a Friday and be sitting on the veranda of your holiday home sipping a glass of wine by 8pm!

There are plenty of holiday homes available, but we’ve picked out this two-bedroom fully furnished cabin which is based just a few miles outside of Porthmado, in Trawsfynydd Holiday Village.

The cabin is accessed directly from the parking space via two steps to the decking area and front door.

The veranda is fully enclosed and half opened out providing a separate internal storage space with electric wall panel heater and cupboard on one side and an enlarged kitchen/dining area on the other side.

The kitchen is open plan with the lounge and has modern fitted kitchen base and wall units with a stainless steel sink unit and compact electric water heater above, a freestanding cooker and fridge, a microwave on a bracket above and a new dining table and four matching chairs.

The lounge has a double glazed upvc bow window and is furnished with a two-seater sofa, two armchairs, coffee tables, TV point, small corner dresser, stove effect electric fire and a night storage heater. The storage and electric meter cupboard is off of the lounge.

The bathroom comprises a modern electric shower unit, white WC, modern vanity unit with fitted white washbasin and compact electric water heater above and heated towel rail.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed, modern wardrobe and electric heater and bedroom 2 has bunk beds, modern wardrobe, and electric heater.

There are small grassed areas to the front and rear so it is an easy plot to maintain.

There is also a newly built good sized decking across the front. The log cabin has a new roof with insulation and both the sides and rear have been clad with half logs with insulation behind.

The gravelled parking area is beside the cabin.

Leasehold: A new 50 year lease started on the 2nd December 2016. The cabin can be used for holiday purposes only and only from 1st December to 31st October. Current site fees can be obtained from reception.
