An eyewitness has reported seeing about five cars involved in this afternoon’s pile-up on the M5 with people sat around their crashed vehicles
Although traffic reports are saying three vehicles were involved, one driver said he believes at least five vehicles have been caught up in the pile-up.
The eyewitness told Gloucestershire Live said: “People [are] sat around on floor around cars and lady holding a baby at the front.”
The fire service has said that injured people are being treated at the scene and no-one was trapped in the vehicles.

The accident happened on the northbound carriageway at around 12.20pm between junction eight and seven, near Strensham Services.
