A man was killed Friday night after he was struck by several cars on Interstate 10, according to San Antonio police.
The driver of a GMC pickup told police he was traveling west on the highway when he saw a man on foot suddenly appear in his lane in the 7000 block of I-10.

The driver tried to avoid hitting the man but was not successful. He told police he stopped his car and tried to get to the victim, but the pedestrian was hit by multiple 18-wheelers.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No charges are expected in this case, according to police. The deceased has not yet been identified.
The incident came just hours after a pedestrian running into traffic on Loop 1604 caused a multi-vehicle crash. That pedestrian then climbed onto a bridge above Loop 1604 and jumped to his death, police said.
