The IMCA Sprint Nationals are set for this weekend at Eagle Raceway.

Between 120-130 sprint cars are expected to compete, and they’ll be aiming for the biggest prize — a $2,500 check on Sunday.

Qualifying races are set for 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Sunday’s card will start at 6:30 p.m. The main event will pay $1,250 to start.

Saturday’s lineup will include the $1,000 Jake Ita Memorial Race of Champions.

Admission is $13 Friday, $15 Saturday and $18 Sunday. Youth tickets (6-12) are $5 and children under 5 get in for free.

The field will include the nation’s top sprint car drivers, including several from the area. Eagle Raceway points leader Tyler Drueke is expected to race. Adam Gullion, Clint Benson, Toby Chapman and Shayle Bade also are registered.

Kyle Ganoe (Thompsontown, Pennsylvania) is scheduled to race. He is currently second in the national points race.
