IN A delicious collaboration between Gelatissimo and the Byron Bay Cookie Company, a new flavour of gelato has been born.
Crafted by Gelatissimo’s gelato makers, the new flavour is a combination of milk chocolate chunk Dotty cookie crumble in a dairy gelato, crammed with rainbow mini buttons.
The cookies are already a hit around town with a number of cafes stocking the famous Dotty cookies.
The colourful gelato flavour hit stores on Saturday, just in time for school holidays. The limited edition flavour will be available until October.
Gelatissimo marketing manager Amanda Massingham said it was exciting to introduce the new flavour.
“We had a lot of fun experimenting with such an iconic cookie to develop a gelato that would be packed with flavour and fun.”
Byron Bay Cookie Company marketing manager Emilie Emond said the cookie had always been a favourite with customers.
“As our all-time best-selling cookie flavour, the Dotty has always been a crowd pleaser. Our collaboration with Gelatissimo will allow cookie lovers of all ages to discover a new way to enjoy their favourite cookie.”
The flavour is available in a cup, cone, shake, doughnut and take-home pack.
