Northside gunman shoots 2 people, several homes, cars

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville police are searching for a gunman who shot two people and sprayed homes and cars with bullets on the Northside early Tuesday.

The shooting took place around 12:25 a.m. near the intersection of 10th Avenue and Clyde Drive. Witnesses told police a man in a dark-colored truck fired shots and sped off. Police said no one in the homes were hit by gunfire.

The two victims were taken to UF Health Jacksonville, and are expected to be OK.

Police are now looking for surveillance cameras to find out more information about the shooter.
