October holiday fun activities lined up for Dundee youngsters

There’s no reason for anyone to be bored during the October holidays in Dundee, with a great range of activities on offer in the city.

A spokesman for Leisure and Culture Dundee said: “Looking for something to keep the children active during the school holidays?

“Why not get them to come along to one of our holiday activities.”

He said activities will run Mondays to Fridays from October 9-20.

He added: “Young people can choose from an exciting range of activities including sport and splash camps, funky feet/urban moves, gymnastics, trampolines, Mini Kickers, football, tennis, and ice camp and Ancrum adventure days.”

He said there is something for every age group, from as kids as young as 18 months who can take part in Tots on the Go and Mini Kickers sessions.

The spokesman said: “Mini Kickers is for children 18 months to three years.

“It’s a fun-packed basic skills programme that aims to teach children core motor skills through playing fun-filled imaginative ball games.

“The sessions also include a visit from Dundee United’s Terry the Terror, Dundee FC’s Deewok and the Fun Fours fox mascot.”
