Police: Driver charged after hitting two cars, crashing into library

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — Lynchburg Police said it’s investigating after a truck hit the Lynchburg Public Library on Memorial Avenue Friday afternoon.

Police said Michael Mosley ran a red light near the intersection of where the library is on Memorial Avenue, hit two cars and a light pole, then ran into the library.

He’s now charged with running a red light.

The driver of the first car is also charged with unlicensed operation and was sent to the hospital to get check out.

Luckily, the library didn’t have any damage.

Police said the third car involved took off from the scene.
