Polio survivors group to host conference with experts in Doylestown Township | Local

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP — Pennsylvania Polio Survivors Network will host a live video conference — Post-Polio Care: Past, Present and Future — featuring experts Dr. William DeMayo and professor Daniel Wilson, who will focus on the history of post-polio syndrome and help polio survivors and caregivers navigate medical care.

The conference will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Bucks County Intermediate Unit in Doylestown Township. It will be streamed live to two other locations across the state, and via webcast from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the same day.

Registration is $20 for the conference or $15 for the webcast. Registration fees are considered a donation to the Pennsylvania Polio Survivors Network. To register by Aug. 18, or for more information, visit
