Special trains to clear holiday rush

Special trains are being operated by Railways to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Dasara festival and holidays.

Train No. 08573 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati weekly special express will leave Visakhapatnam on Mondays at 10.55 p.m. from Oct 2 to Nov 27 and will reach Tirupati on the following days at 1.25 p.m.

In the return direction 08574 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam weekly special express Tirupati on Tuesdays at 3.30 p.m. from Oct 3 to Nov 28 and arrive in Visakhapatnam on the following days at 6.50 a.m., according to Divisional Commercial Manager (Coordination) G. Suneel Kumar. These trains have stoppages at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, New Guntur, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Sri Kalahasti and Renigunta between Visakhapatnam and Tirupati. Train No. 08501 Visakhapatnam to Secunderabad weekly special express will leave Visakhapatnam on Tuesdays at 11 p.m. from Oct 3 to Nov 28 to reach Secunderabad on the next day at 12 noon.

In the return direction, 08502 Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam weekly special express will leave Secunderabad on Wednesdays at 4.30 p.m. from Oct 4 to Nov 29 and will arrive in Visakhapatnam the next day 4.50 a.m.

These trains will have stoppages at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet in both the directions.

Train No. 07438 Kacheguda – Tatanagar Special train will leave Kacheguda on Mondays from Oct 2 to Nov 27 at 1 p.m. and will arrive in Visakhapatnam on the next day (Tuesdays) at 1.30 a.m. and leaves at 1.50 a.m. to reach Tatagnar at 7.45 p.m. on the same day.
