Two cars struck in a hit and run that was caught on tape

KREM 2’s Lindsay Nadrich talks to one of the victims of a hit and run that was caught on tape.

SPOKANE, Wash — A pickup truck was caught on video hitting two cars in North Spokane before taking off down the street, neighbors hope the driver will be caught.

KREM 2 talked with one of the people who had their car totaled by a hit and run driver.

“I’m out of a car. We’re all working stiffs, so we’ve got to get to work. I’m lucky enough to work for a car dealer, so they’re giving me some help there. But the other car belongs to a young gentleman who is either in high school or college and he uses his car to get to school. So, it’s a big hardship,” said victim of the hit and run, Michael Hall.

It was reported that it was a white Ford pickup that hit the cars and then fled southbound. A neighbor of Hall’s even got it on his surveillance camera.

The hope is that someone will know who the truck belongs to or who was driving it and they will turn them in.

“I posted on a couple of Facebook pages and that got a lot of views, but the biggest thing is to have someone that’s responsible for this to come forward or even someone that may know or see the pickup to come forward and really just pay for their actions,” said Hall.

If you have any information you are asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
