Vandals caught on camera damaging cars

Three cars have been left damaged after a pair of vandals walked down a street mindlessly lashing out.

Two vandals were seen on a home security camera damaging cars in Wolseley Road, St Budeaux at 5.20am yesterday. Sarah Monk, 41, checked her tape after finding her car wing mirror had been broken along with two other cars in her street.

Sarah said: “My mirror was smashed and it’s going to cost around £200 to fix because it’s electric.

“Nothing like this has ever happened to me, around a year ago it happened up the road where people had their tyres slashed.

Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police have taken Sarah’s CCTV footage to start their investigation into the crime, reports plymouthherald.

Sarah, who has lived in the area for 17 years, added: “It’s just the expense and hassle from people’s stupidity

“You’d hope they would realise how much everything costs, especially if they have their own cars.

“The two men aren’t children, they look like they’re in their early twenties – making them old enough to know better.”
