Officers are investigating a robbery at a store in Silver End.

On Wednesday, February 14, at around 9.40pm, a masked suspect holding a metal baton entered the Co-op store in Broadway demanding staff open the till.

The suspect left the store with the entire till drawer and cash contents.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police say the suspect was dressed in all black with a Firetrap hoodie, Nike joggers, white trainers and a camo balaclava.

“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us,” a spokesman added.
