Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Retail, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the DAX rose 2.03% to hit a new 3-months high, while the gained 2.30%, and the gained 1.46%.
The best performers of the session on the DAX were MTU Aero Engines NA O.N. (), which rose 6.11% or 18.10 points to trade at 314.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. () added 4.51% or 3.31 points to end at 76.73 and Daimler Truck Holding AG () was up 4.44% or 1.78 points to 41.91 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fresenius SE & Co KGAA O.N. (), which fell 0.88% or 0.34 points to trade at 38.44 at the close. Brenntag AG () declined 0.73% or 0.42 points to end at 57.08 and BASF SE NA O.N. () was down 0.62% or 0.32 points to 51.35.
The top performers on the MDAX were Delivery Hero AG () which rose 11.94% to 37.60, TKMS GmbH () which was up 5.23% to settle at 82.50 and Aumovio Se () which gained 5.15% to close at 37.80.
The worst performers were Puma SE () which was down 3.23% to 27.85 in late trade, K+S AG () which lost 2.24% to settle at 14.38 and Nordex SE O.N. () which was down 1.44% to 42.50 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (ETR:IFXGn) which rose 4.51% to 76.73, Eckert & Ziegler AG O.N. () which was up 2.46% to settle at 15.39 and Nemetschek AG O.N. () which gained 2.29% to close at 64.80.
The worst performers were Evotec AG O.N. () which was down 3.73% to 5.03 in late trade, 1&1 AG () which lost 2.59% to settle at 22.60 and Nordex SE O.N. (ETR:NDXG) which was down 1.44% to 42.50 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 427 to 190 and 19 ended unchanged.

for August delivery was up 1.03% or 46.86 to $4,603.26 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, for delivery in July fell 5.25% or 5.07 to hit $91.53 a barrel, while the August contract fell 5.00% or 5.01 to trade at $95.20 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.16, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 98.93.
