Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the added 1.48% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (), which rose 4.07% or 21.80 points to trade at 557.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Atlas Copco AB Class A () added 2.99% or 5.30 points to end at 182.50 and Addtech () was up 2.82% or 9.60 points to 350.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (), which fell 1.64% or 0.70 points to trade at 39.70 at the close. Tele2 AB () declined 1.29% or 2.35 points to end at 180.25 and Telia Company AB () was down 0.99% or 0.50 points to 50.06.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 461 to 209 and 52 ended unchanged.
for July delivery was down 5.66% or 5.47 to $91.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, for delivery in August fell 5.40% or 5.41 to hit $94.80 a barrel, while the August contract rose 1.05% or 47.86 to trade at $4,604.26 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.36% to 10.81, while USD/SEK fell 0.70% to 9.29.
