Trent is a nonattorney legal researcher and writer for a large criminal defense law firm in the Midwest. He is also a freelance outdoor/travel content writer for a handful of outlets. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the legal sector and another 20 as a freelance writer. When he’s not pinned down by his laptop, Trent enjoys spending time with his two adult children, drawing and nature photography, as well as hiking the trails or paddling the many lakes near his home.
