US Stock Market Live: US futures have extended their losses this morning Indian time, having opened lower. Futures on the Dow Jones are now down 300 points, while those on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq are down 35 and 110 points respectively. Thursday’s trading session saw the benchmark indices post their seventh negative week in the last nine. Asian markets, whichever are open for trading, have opened mostly lower. US Stock Market Live: US futures have extended their losses this morning Indian time, having opened lower. Futures on the Dow Jones are now down 300 points, while those on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq are down 35 and 110 points respectively. Thursday’s trading session saw the benchmark indices post their seventh negative week in the last nine. Asian markets, whichever are open for trading, have opened mostly lower. The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) has left its one-year and five-year prime lending rates unchanged, continuing its trend from October last year. Brent Crude is now nearing levels of $68 per barrel, having declined to levels of $60 per barrel earlier this month.
