US Stock Market Live Updates: Futures on Wall Street have begun trading from where they left off on Friday. The Dow futures are up 200 points, whereas the S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures are up 15 points and 65 points respectively in trading on Sunday evening local time. Both S&P 500 and the Nasdaq ended at record high levels on Friday, with the Dow Jones still 1,250 points away from that landmark. The 30-stock index gained over 400 points on Friday. Hopes of trade negotiations fructifying, a subdued inflation print, hopes of more rate cuts from the US Federal Reserve and cooling tensions in the Middle East are contributing to the upmove. This will be a truncated week for the US markets as they will remain shut on Friday on account of Independence Day. This also means that all the important macro data reported at the start of the month will be reported across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The non-farm payrolls, auto sales, manufacturing and services PMI data will all be reported this week. Watch this space for all the live updates.
