UK asset manager Janus Henderson Group plc and Hong Kong alternative investment firm Sun Hung Kai & Co have teamed up to collaborate on non-mainstream investment solutions.
They will partner on co-development and distribution of products, “strategic capital seeding initiatives”, and direct investment opportunities across public and private alternative products globally but with a focus on Asia Pacific markets, Janus Henderson says in a statement on May 6.
“Asia Pacific is a key growth market for Janus Henderson, and SHK & Co’s deep local insight, and proven expertise in alternative investments and capital solutions will help unlock new investment opportunities for clients globally,” according to Ali Dibadj, chief executive officer of the UK firm.
As of end-2025, London-based Janus Henderson managed around US$493 billion of assets while SHK & Co managed HK$38.7 billion ($4.96 billion).
