A Sliver of Light – Homebeat’s midwinter music & arts weekender – returns to Hotel Doolin for its second edition, held amongst the majesty and drama of the West Clare coastline, inviting us all to escape to the edge of the island together to mark and celebrate the moment we emerge from the true depths of the darkness into… A Sliver of Light, 23-25 January 2026.
A Sliver Of Light 2026 builds on a successful 2025 edition, and continues to combine three days of cutting edge contemporary live music & DJs from Irish & International artists with selected highlight performances from German electronic stars Session Victim (Live), renowned Berlin DJ Nick Hoppner, mesmeric Icelandic singer JFDR – alongside a plethora of exciting emerging Irish acts Citrus Fresh, Goldbug, Oceanna, Smithereens, Vatican Jail and many more, with DJ sets from Galway hero P Disconaut, Limerick’s Frankie Downbeat, & Limerick’s Peter Curtin.
A Sliver of Light are particularly delighted to announce that RTÉ Lyric Fm will be hosting and broadcasting a special edition of their celebrated Ambient Orbit show live from the festival.
All of this alongside a series of curated talks and experiences – keeping the body and mind engaged while all the time bringing your eyes to rest on the endless horizon of the Atlantic coast, as the year begins to unfold around us.
