Now that’s the luck of the Irish.
To keep the St Patrick’s Day cheer going, Cadbury is bringing the goods with a Baileys-inspired Old Gold block.
The chocolate block will feature a smooth and creamy Baileys-flavoured centre, with all the chocolate-vanilla-whiskey goodness of Baileys Irish Cream surrounded by the subtle bitterness of Cadbury’s signature dark chocolate.
Baileys desserts are always a hit – especially if Nanna is around – and while the latest version won’t quite have the same boozy hit, there’s no denying the deliciousness of everyone’s favourite festive tipple.

But wait, there’s more. Old Gold is going into full nostalgia mode with a Brandy Snaps version too. The crunchy gingerbread and toffee of a Brandy Snap will be dispersed through the 70 percent chocolate, eliciting the memories of a 1980s dinner party with less (or more) lambrusco involved.
We don’t have an exact date yet, but the Old Gold Baileys and Old Gold Brandy Snaps blocks are expected to hit supermarkets by April.
