Clients of UBS Wealth Management are among the most comfortable with alternative investments. Now the bank thinks allocations could go even higher.
This is the view of Johannes Roth, co-head of alternative solutions at the firm, who says the target alternatives allocation is 10%, which is still way off the current 4% many wealth clients have.
The wealth business invests 5% of its $3.8tn asset base into alternatives, which corresponds to around $200bn.
