The Left Bank in Kilkenny has been awarded the silver medal in the “Best Live Entertainment” category, at the Bar of the Year awards last night.

The awards, held in the Clayton Hotel in Dublin, honour outstanding achievement in the pub sector, across a number of categories.

They had been nominated for Best Bar To Watch a Match, Cocktail Bar and Gastro Pub

A number of establishments in Carlow and Kilkenny had been nominated, including The Barracks and Harry Hughes in Carlow, and Mount Juliet Estate in Kilkenny.
