PGIM Investments, part of PGIM has appointed Dominick Carlino as the global head of Alternative Investments. In this newly created role, Dominick Carlino will be responsible for leading the continued development and distribution of customized alternative investments to meet the needs of wealth management worldwide. He will report to Stuart Parker, President and CEO of PGIM Investments.

PGIM is a leader in private alternative investments with $310.9 billion in AUM across its capabilities in real estate, agriculture, private credit, and private equity. The company continues to strengthen its franchise in alternatives, most recently with the formation of PGIM Private Alternatives, a new business unit that consolidates the company’s capabilities in private alternative investments to provide investors worldwide with a cohesive set of investment solutions. PGIM has also invested to deepen its presence in the private market with the majority acquisition of Deerpath Capital in May 2023 and the acquisition of Montana Capital Partners in 2021.
Dominick Carlino brings over 20 years of experience in alternative product distribution within the asset and wealth management industry. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Head of Alternative Investment Distribution at Merrill Lynch. Before his 10 years at Merrill Lynch, Carlino held various business development and distribution roles at AlphaOne Capital Partners, Morgan Stanley, and Susquehanna International Group.
