Silver futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange declined by Rs 1,107 to Rs 84,551 per kg on Wednesday, driven by reduced investor bets. Global silver prices also saw a dip.

New Delhi, Aug 28 (PTI) Silver prices on Wednesday plunged Rs 1,107 to Rs 84,551 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery declined by Rs 1,107 or 1.29 per cent to Rs 84,551 per kg in a business turnover of 14,207 lots.

Globally, silver was trading 1.45 per cent lower at USD 29.99 per ounce in New York.
