Technip Energies India has been honoured with the Platinum Award for Best Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Performance at the 12th Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region EHS Excellence Awards. The recognition was awarded for the company’s MS Block Project at HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL) in Barmer, Rajasthan, marking a significant achievement in the execution of one of India’s key refinery developments.
The award reflects the company’s commitment to maintaining rigorous safety standards throughout project execution. The MS Block Project demonstrated strong performance across multiple HSE parameters, including the implementation of structured safety management systems, adoption of innovative safety practices, and efficient use of renewable resources. These efforts collectively contributed to setting a high benchmark for operational excellence in the sector.
A notable initiative introduced by the project team was the development of an HSE theme park. This initiative serves as a platform for safety awareness and training, reinforcing the importance of proactive risk management and continuous learning. It highlights the organisation’s focus on embedding safety knowledge into everyday operations.
Technip Energies India attributes this achievement to its sustained emphasis on workforce training, leadership involvement, and fostering a culture where safety is a shared responsibility. From site personnel to senior management, safety practices are integrated into all levels of decision-making and execution.
Commenting on the recognition, Davendra Kumar, Managing Director, India and APAC, Technip Energies, stated that the award represents a collective effort across teams and partners.
