Controversial self-help guru Tony Robbins is making a return to the world of wealth management, gearing up to publish a new book, ‘The Holy Grail of Investing,’ next week through Simon & Schuster.

The book, like many RIAs strive to do today, looks to capitalize on the recent alternative investing craze, and includes interviews with more than a dozen private equity, private credit, venture capital and private real estate investors about their strategies and insights. Subjects include Vista Equity Partners founder Robert Smith, Khosla Ventures founder Vinod Khosla and Korean private equity billionaire Michael Kim.

Robbins, an author and motivational speaker, has published several investing books, the first of which was 2014’s ‘Money: Master the Game.’ In it, Robbins wrote favorably of Creative Planning chief executive Peter Mallouk – the two later developed close ties, with Robbins joining Creative Planning’s advisory board and becoming the company’s ‘chief of investor psychology’ in March of 2016. Robbins was also compensated for referring investors to the firm.
