How did Colombia reach the quarter-finals?

Colombia, meanwhile, are through to the W Gold Cup quarter-finals having also finished as runners-up in their section. 

Las Cafeteras took second in Group B thanks to wins over Panama and Puerto Rico – the first of which was a thumping, 6-0 triumph.

After beginning their campaign by thrashing the Panamians, Ángelo Marsiglia’s side narrowly lost to the Brazilians, before making sure of automatic qualification with 2-0 win over Puerto Ricans on matchday three.
