Paragon’s gross buy-to-let (BTL) mortgage lending fell by 4.7% year-on-year to £773.7m in the six months ending 31 March. The bank said this decline was partly caused by borrowers’ nervousness about the potential impact of the November 2025 UK budget on their businesses.
