Santander will cut rates across its higher loan-to-value (LTV) first-time buyer (FTB) and home mover products from 24th April.  Rates on FTB, home mover and remortgage fixed rates will reduce by up to 0.25%. Mortgage borrowers are cautious about their next steps due to geopolitical, cost-of-living and affordability issues, brokers say. The Family Building Society’s six-monthly Intermediary Business Outlook Survey found that most brokers (51%) said they had seen a rise in remortgage applications, but the same percentage had experienced a drop in applications for home moves. ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Many are wondering what happened to Maryland’s Real Property Search website.It’s been down since April 14.According Maryland’s Department of Information Technology, there was suspicious activity detected on the website’s servers.As result, the department took the site offline to investigate.At this point, it’s believed whoever did this only got access to information that’s already public.”TheDoIT does not anticipate a broader cybersecurity risk to the state at this time,” the department said in a press release.
