Ohio football fans bet on the Cincinnati Bengals last weekend ‒ and came out on top.
Almost 90% of Ohio gamblers who made wagers either at the Cincinnati Hard Rock Casino Sportsbook or on the Hard Rock Casino Sportsbook app bet on the Bengals to beat the Buffalo Bills in last weekend’s divisional round game, Kathrine Nero, director of media at Game Day Communications, said.
Additionally, of the Ohio gamblers who placed bets on the 5.5-point spread, 80% took the points and bet on the Bengals. The percentage of Ohio bettors who bet on the Bengals was higher than national numbers, Hard Rock Casino said, showing local fans backed the Cincinnati team.

Hard Rock Casino also said the Bengals-Bills AFC divisional round matchup was the most bet on sporting event of the weekend, not just in Ohio, but across the country. Sunday’s AFC championship game is still days away, but Hard Rock Sportsbook said it has seen early enthusiasm from gamblers who are betting on the favored Bengals to both win and cover the spread.
