Bournemouth are optimistic of reaching an agreement with Chelsea for the loan of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga after positive talks over the weekend.
Kepa, 29, would sign an extension with Chelsea on reduced terms prior to moving on loan.
The stopper, who spent last season at LaLiga champions Real Madrid, has attracted interest from several clubs, including Saudi sides, this summer.
Chelsea are ready to offload him but with his contract expiring at the end of the current campaign, he would first need to renew his deal before leaving.
Andoni Iraola’s Cherries are open to strengthening between the sticks with Kepa now set to provide competition for club captain and current No 1 Neto.
