Mumbai: Police on Wednesday arrested two college dropouts from Uttar Pradesh for duping operation head of a Vile Parle-based wealth management company of Rs 3.8 lakh after luring her to use reward points accumulated in her bank card, which they said can lapse if left unutilised. Andheri police said they have seized 45 credit cards from the arrested duo — Akash Agarwal (24) and Rohit Prasad (27) — which they had used to credit the money siphoned from the victim’s bank account on March 17. Cyber police have managed to recover Rs 1.9 lakh from the accused. The duo has been booked for impersonation and cheating, and under IT Act. — V Narayan
