SBI Card is making changes to its reward program. Between March 31, 2025, and April 1, 2025, some of its credit cards will offer fewer reward points on select transactions.

Key reductions apply to the SimplyCLICK SBI Card and Air India SBI Credit Cards.

SimplyCLICK SBI Card: Lower rewards on Swiggy

From April 1, 2025, SimplyCLICK SBI Cardholders will earn only 5X reward points on Swiggy, down from 10X reward points.

However, the 10X reward benefit remains unchanged for other partner brands like Apollo 24X7, BookMyShow, Cleartrip, Dominos, IGP, Myntra, Netmeds, and Yatra.

Air India SBI Credit Cards: Major reward cuts

From March 31, 2025, SBI Card will reduce reward points on Air India ticket bookings for Platinum and Signature cardholders.

Air India SBI Platinum Credit Card: Reward points drop from 15 per ₹100 spent to 5 per ₹100 spent.

Air India SBI Signature Credit Card: Reward points drop from 30 per ₹100 spent to 10 per ₹100 spent.

What it means for cardholders

These changes mean fewer rewards for frequent flyers and online shoppers.

Other card changes

Additionally, some changes will take effect for Club Vistara co-branded credit cards issued by IDFC First Bank too from April 1, 2025.

IDFC First Bank has informed its Club Vistara IDFC First Credit Cardholders that milestone benefits will be discontinued from March 31, 2025.

However, customers can continue earning Maharaja Points until March 31, 2026, when the card will be fully phased out.

Club Vistara Silver Membership will no longer be available, and complimentary vouchers, including one Premium Economy Ticket and one one-class upgrade voucher, will also be discontinued. Additionally, milestone vouchers for Premium Economy Tickets will no longer be issued. However, customers can continue earning Maharaja Points until March 31, 2026, when the card will be fully phased out. For those renewing their cards after March 31, 2025, the annual fee will be waived for one year.
