It’s important to have your address or phone number updated on your SBI card account, and to ensure there is no interruption in service and communication, if you have an SBI credit card and just recently relocated.
The good news is that it’s simple, quick and easy to update your contact information online. All you need is your activation access code, and for verification purposes, make sure the mobile number currently registered on your credit card account is active and accessible.
We will outline the steps for the entire process in this guide for easy reference.
How to change SBI credit card contact details?
Step 1: Click ‘my profile’ link on left hand side
Step 2: Now to modify the details, you need to click ‘edit’.
Step 3: Now you will see the quick contact details here. These include mobile number and email ID.
After you make these changes, you can generate a one time password (OTP). Now enter the one-time password and click submit. The mobile number and/or email id will be changed.
Step 4: Likewise, you can change personal address or office address in the next window. Just like in the previous step, you will have to generate OTP which will be sent to your registered phone number. Enter the OTP and submit.
Changing social media profile details
You can easily edit the information of your social media accounts in your profile in the same way you would normally change your phone number and address.
To do this, go to “My Profile” and select “Edit”. There is a section for “Social Media”; click that and you can continue.
Then, next to the icon for the specific platform, put in your new social network handle or link. Once you complete this you’ll create a OTP (one time passcode) that will be sent to the mobile number you registered. Then you enter the OTP , and submit the edits. After that, your social media information will now be saved.
Other functions
Additionally, there are a number of other functions that you can carry out on the SBI card website. These include registering the card, converting big purchases into EMI, making card payment online, activating SBI Card online, redeeming rewards points online and changing SBI card online account password.
