PhonePe has launched a device tokenization feature for debit and credit cards, starting with Visa cards.

The feature lets you tokenize your cards on the PhonePe app and will soon be expanded to support other networks.

It simplifies transactions related to bill payments, recharges, travel bookings, insurance purchases, and payments at online merchants using PhonePe’s payment gateway.

The tokenization feature saves users from saving card details on merchant platforms or entering CVV codes for every transaction.
