Ludhiana: Additional deputy commissioner, Jagraon Major Amit Sareen along with assistant commissioner Krishna Pal Rajpoot and Punjabi singer Veet Baljit inaugurated an electronic voting machine (EVM) demonstration booth at the district administrative complex. The aim of this initiative is to educate voters about EVMs/VVPATs used in elections and to encourage them to participate in the electoral process. A signature campaign was also initiated to solicit support from voters for the upcoming general elections.
