KUPWARA, MAY 08: In the run up to the Lok Sabha elections 2024, training sessions of Sector Magistrates supervisors and BLOs was conducted at Environment Hall Handwara.

The training was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Aziz Ahmad Rather, who is also ARO Handwara.
In the first session, the sector magistrates and supervisors were given hands-on training of EVM and VVPAT and brief explanation of submission of documents.
ADC Handwara/ Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) stressed the BLOs to get acquainted to operate the EVMs, as BLOs are most useful and sought after Human Resource at every polling booth.

ADC apprised the trainees about their role and responsibility in conduct of elections.
