A man has died following a serious crash in Evesham over the weekend. The victim of the crash, a 39-year-old was sadly pronounced dead at the scene on Saturday, July 27.

The crash happened along the A46 around 5.30pm. Emergency services were called to the scene near to the junction for Badsey Road.



It is thought that the crash involved a black BMW 330 D Sport, which left the road before colliding with a hedgerow.

Three men, aged 29, 34 and 36, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, and driving under the influence. All three men remain in police custody as enquiries continue.

West Mercia Police is now appealing for witnesses to come forward. It said: “Anyone who witnessed the collision, or was in the area around the time of the incident and may have dashcam footage, is asked to email Serious Collision Investigations Unit on sciusouth@westmercia.police.uk.”
