The month of June 2025 wrapped up with multiple special edition launches, ranging from mass-market models to premium cars. As we roll into July 2025, a few exciting launches are lined up, especially some new EVs. MG is gearing up to launch not one but two of its highly anticipated electric models, while Kia is set to reveal its first all-electric mass-market MPV. Let’s take a closer look at all the cars set to debut in India this July.
MG Cyberster
Expected Launch Date: July-end

MG is expected to announce the prices of the Cyberster this month. Upon launch, it will be the carmaker’s most powerful electric offering in India. Notably, the Cyberster was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2025, where it stood out due to its striking design. Powering the Cyberster is a dual electric motor setup paired with a 77 kWh battery. The electric powertrain delivers an output of 510 PS and 725 Nm, offering a claimed range of 443 km.

Inside, the cabin gets a dual-tone theme with a driver-focused dashboard layout. Feature highlights include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual 7-inch driver’s displays, and a dedicated screen for AC controls. In terms of safety, it gets Level-2 ADAS, along with 6 airbags and other standard equipment. Expect the Cyberster to be priced around Rs 80 lakh (ex-showroom).
BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe
Expected Launch Date: July-end

BMW unveiled the new-gen 2 Series globally in October 2024, and it is now expected to arrive in India by July 2025. It gets updates inside out, including a sleeker LED lighting setup, an updated kidney grille, and an overall sharper design with redesigned alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin feels more upmarket majorly due to a new 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, electrically adjustable front-row seats, and ambient lighting with multiple colour schemes. While the global model gets multiple engine choices, the India-spec version is likely to continue with the same 178 PS 2-litre turbo-petrol and 190 PS 2-litre diesel powertrain options.
MG M9
Expected Launch Date: July-end

Another big launch from MG expected to come up in July 2025 is the M9 MPV, which was also showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It gets a 90 kWh battery pack paired with a 245 PS front-mounted electric motor, delivering a WLTP-claimed range of 430 km, which is similar to the global-spec model.

The M9 gets a large, boxy shape that underlines its MPV character and gets a clean and fuss-free exterior design. Inside, it features a dual-tone black and tan dashboard with a feature-loaded cabin. Top amenities include a single-pane sunroof for the front row, a panoramic sunroof for rear passengers, powered and ventilated front and middle row seats with massage function, and 3-zone automatic climate control.
BONUS: Kia Carens Clavis EV
Launch Date: July 15, 2025

Kia is all set to take the wraps-off the electric counterpart of the Carens Clavis MPV on July 15, 2025. Spy shots hint that the Clavis EV will largely retain the design of its ICE-powered counterpart, but will get EV-specific touches like aerodynamically designed alloy wheels and revised bumpers.

On the inside, the overall layout is expected to remain similar, though Kia might offer a fresh cabin theme to help it stand out. While powertrain details are yet to be revealed, the Clavis EV is expected to come with multiple battery pack options, offering a claimed range of up to 500 km.
Luxury marques might not be stealing the spotlight in the month of July, but there are mass-market brands that are expected to bring a surprise or two. For now though, it’s the MG Cyberster, and the MG M9 set to make waves. Which one are you most excited to see on Indian roads? Tell us in the comments!
