AccountsIQ is scalable accounting software that helps you to automate your processes and unlock business intelligence. There are currently about 20,000 AccountsIQ users in over 60 countries.

With an in-house Research and Development team, more than 200 people years have been spent on developing and improving the product. AccountsIQ is proud to have a 98 per cent customer satisfaction rating, a 27-minute response time rate and 99.9 per cent uptime.

Reshaping the finance team of the future

The old finance function consisted of the majority of time being spent on transactional processing, followed by compliance and reporting, which left little time for business decisions.

Through using AccountsIQ, the new finance function focuses on dramatically reducing the time spent on processing transactions so that more time can be spent on making informed, timely business decisions that support and shape financial success.

A focus on growing businesses

By speeding up day-to-day transactions, businesses are left with more time to focus on growth and strategy.

AccountsIQ has a number of ‘quick digital wins’, built into modules within the platform. For example, in the Sales Invoicing module they can connect to donation platforms and automate workflows to pull in donation data.

On the expenditure side, there are a number of tools that can help control a charity’s spend, such as creating purchase orders and sending them to budget-holders for approval and then matching them against invoices which can be emailed straight to the system. The platform can store invoices for auditing purposes and automate accruals and pay suppliers – even in bulk.

‘Quick digital wins’ for the General Ledger include BI codes and dimensions (or cost centres) so that reports can be sliced and diced to quickly get to the detail needed. There’s a built-in foreign exchange capability to pull in foreign exchange rates as well as to make payments in other currencies.

Staff can use the mobile app to submit expenses, and attach proof of spend, which can then be approved against defined expenses codes and projects.

AccountsIQ connects to over 12,000 banks globally and charities can connect their bank to the system. The feed is updated four times a day and uses a traffic-light system for transactions.

Insightful reporting

There are about 250 standardised in-product reports with variable fields, as well as the ability to connect directly into Excel or PowerBI via the OData link.

Charities can view their data easily with the new dashboard tool or build bespoke data reports for their organisation through the Reporting Services team.
