Kirk Millisor trades a career in math for mortgages

Kirk Millisor started with Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. in June of 2021.

As a boy, Kirk Millisor fantasized about being a pro athlete. Little wonder since his father, Jim Millisor, the current mayor of Prospect, coached track, football and basketball at Elgin High School for almost 30 years.

But Kirk was, and is, a numbers guy. He even taught mathematics at the middle and high school level for five years. And he had a desire to help people. So it’s also little wonder he “became intrigued with the idea of helping people make sense of homebuying, as it can be a complex process.”

“I knew with my background in numbers and experience in sales I may be a good fit,” said Millisor.

Today, he is a mortgage loan officer with Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc.

“My office is in Dublin,” Millisor noted, “but I work out of my home in Marion.”
