European banking majors like Deutsche Bank and HSBC have reported strong results, but the tariff impact has hurt companies like Lufthansa, who has said that there is limited earnings visibility, while Volvo Cars has launched a cost-cutting drive worth nearly $2 billion, scrapping its guidance in the process. Brent crude prices are trading around the mark of $65 per barrel, while Gold has seen some decline from levels of $3,350.
